We offer a simple, straightforward 30-day money-back guarantee on all purchases of Shrinko. If you're not completely satisfied with your purchase for any reason, we'll refund your money—no questions asked, no hoops to jump through.

We built Shrinko to be the link shortener you actually want to use, and we stand behind that promise with this guarantee. Your satisfaction is our top priority.

2. What's Covered by Our Guarantee

Our 30-day money-back guarantee covers:

  • Full refund of your $37 lifetime access purchase
  • Any order bumps purchased (5 custom domains, retargeting pixels, etc.)
  • No penalties for usage during the 30-day period
  • The 30-day period is calculated from your purchase timestamp

You can create links, use all features, and fully test the service during your 30-day guarantee period. If it's not the right fit, we'll refund you.

3. How to Request a Refund

Requesting a refund is simple. Follow these steps:

  2. Include your order ID and the email used for purchase
  3. We'll confirm your request within 24 hours (usually much faster)
  4. Your refund will be processed immediately after confirmation

4. Refund Processing Timeline

Here's what to expect:

Our Processing Time

  • We confirm your request within 24 hours
  • Refunds are processed immediately after confirmation
  • You'll receive a confirmation email once the refund is initiated

Your Bank's Processing Time

  • Credit/Debit cards: 5-10 business days for funds to appear
  • PayPal: 3-5 business days
  • Bank processing times vary by institution and are beyond our control

We process refunds as quickly as possible on our end. Any delays beyond 24 hours are typically due to your bank or payment processor, not us.

5. What Happens to Your Account After Refund

Before Refund Processing

  • Your account remains fully active
  • All features continue to work normally
  • You have a 7-day grace period to export your data after requesting a refund

After Refund Processing

  • Dashboard access is removed
  • You can no longer log in to your account
  • Link creation, editing, and analytics features are disabled
  • Your account is marked as "refunded" in our system

6. What Happens to Your Links and Data

Short Links

All short links using our default domain will be disabled immediately after refund processing. These links will return a 404 error when clicked.

Custom Domain Links

If you were using a custom domain:

  • Links will stop working on Shrinko's infrastructure
  • However, you own your domain and can point it to another service
  • Your DNS records remain under your control—update them to use a different link shortener
  • This is the key advantage of using a custom domain: your links can be migrated

QR Codes

QR codes generated through Shrinko will stop working immediately after refund processing. If you were using a custom domain, you can recreate the same slugs on another service and your QR codes will work again.

Analytics Data

All analytics data becomes inaccessible immediately after refund processing. You will not be able to view or export analytics after your refund is completed. Export your data during the 7-day grace period if you want to keep it.

7. Edge Cases and Special Circumstances

Partial Refunds

If you purchased order bumps (e.g., 5 custom domains, retargeting pixels) and want to refund only the add-ons but keep the main product, contact us. We can accommodate partial refunds on a case-by-case basis.

No Prorated Refunds

Shrinko is a one-time lifetime payment, not a subscription. We do not offer prorated refunds based on usage. The 30-day guarantee is all-or-nothing—either you get a full refund within 30 days, or you keep your lifetime access.

Multiple Purchases

If you made multiple purchases (e.g., bought for multiple team members), each purchase has its own separate 30-day window calculated from that purchase's timestamp.

Technical Issues

If you're experiencing technical problems with Shrinko, please contact support before requesting a refund. We're here to help and can often resolve issues quickly. If we can't fix it, we'll happily process your refund even outside the 30-day window in exceptional circumstances.

Abuse Prevention

We reserve the right to deny refunds in cases of:

  • Terms of Service violations
  • Fraudulent activity or abuse of the refund policy
  • Multiple refund requests from the same user (buy-refund-rebuy pattern)
  • Chargebacks filed without contacting us first

8. After the 30-Day Period

  • Account pause: We can temporarily deactivate your account if you're not using it now

9. Chargebacks and Disputes

We make refunds easy and fast. If you're unhappy, please contact us directly instead of filing a chargeback with your bank. Here's why:

  • Our refund process is faster than a chargeback (24 hours vs 30-90 days)
  • Chargebacks cost us fees and damage our merchant account standing
  • We'll refund you within 24 hours—no reason to involve your bank

Our Chargeback Policy

If you file a chargeback without contacting us first:

  • Your account will be immediately terminated
  • All data and links will be deleted
  • You will be banned from future purchases
  • We will dispute the chargeback with evidence of our refund policy

10. Service Closure Protection

Important: Service closure is NOT a refund scenario.

If Shrinko ever shuts down (we won't, but hypothetically):

Custom Domain Users

  • You own your domain and can migrate immediately
  • Point your DNS to another link shortener—your links continue working
  • We'll provide 90 days advance notice minimum before any shutdown
  • We'll recommend alternative services and provide migration guides

Default Domain Users

  • 90-day advance notice guaranteed
  • Full data export guaranteed during notice period
  • Migration assistance to help you move to another service

Why No Refunds for Closure?

Shrinko is a lifetime access purchase, not a subscription. You paid for access to the service, not a guarantee that it runs forever. This is the same model as software licenses—once activated, no refund for discontinuation.

That said, we're committed to keeping Shrinko running. Our infrastructure costs are minimal, and we're profitable from day one. A shutdown is highly unlikely.
